On this day in 1468 Margaret of York, sister to both Edward lV and Richard lll, married Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy. Margaret was the great-aunt of Henry VIII and his siblings. Henry was twelve years old when she died and most likely never met her since she helped to promote the pretender, Perkin Warbeck.
