The year 2015 started my adventure on the world-wide web with Tudors Weekly. I had resisted for years to start a website – my husband had been encouraging me to do so for a long time. He runs several websites himself and you’d think I would have jumped at the chance to have him help me build my own. Building a website and maintaining it is a scary ordeal – there is a lot of work that goes into it. As someone who only had a passion for history and not a PhD, it’s a little intimidating to write something and post for the world to see and critique.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the welcome I’ve received from the Tudor community. You have all been so nice and have appreciated the days that I put into each of my articles. I want my articles to be accurate and I put a lot of time into researching each of them.
Again, thank you so much for taking the time each day to visit my site. In the near future my address will finally be changing to TudorsDynasty.com instead of the blog.tudorsweekly.com. This new website and name makes more sense for what we are….and we post more than once per week, so the “weekly” part doesn’t fit anymore.
